DESCRIPTION:Hi Everyone\, \nRon Flood has very kindly organized our next club run for Sunday 18th September 2022 \nClick for Flyer \nTo PERNECHELE’S FORD FAMILY FARM.\nToodyay Rd (6 km past the Noble Falls Tavern) \nIt is planned to meet at Muzz Buzz Midland 9.00am – depart at 9.30am sharp to drive to the museum and spend 2 – 2.5 hrs at the museum and afterwards travel back to the Noble Falls Tavern for lunch OR you can bring your own food and have a picnic on site at the museum as they have BBQ’s on site . Your call!!.\nThe museum is constantly changing displays so there are a new variety of vehicles to be seen as indicated by the owner\, Mr Tony Pernechele. SUMMARY:May 2022 - Classic Car Show Ascot Racecourse
DESCRIPTION:THE LARGEST DISPLAY OF CLASSIC VEHICLES IN PERTH\nEach year the classic motoring clubs affiliated to the Council of Motoring Clubs WA come together to put on a combined display that showcases the variety and diversity of the classic motoring movement.\nThis year’s show is held on Sunday 1st May 2022 at Ascot Racecourse. Gates open to the public at 10am to 3pm. \nABOUT THE SHANNON’S CLASSIC CAR SHOW\nIn 1969 five British motoring clubs came together in King’s Park\, Perth to put on a combined display. 60 cars attended. The event was so successful that it was repeated again the following year\, with more clubs attending. The event continued to grow until by the mid-1970s several hundred cars were attending. The coordination of a multi-club car show led to the formation of a coordinating body – the Combined Car Clubs (CMC). \n​The CMC has subsequently grown to become a representative body that liaises with government and the community on matters that affect the classic motoring community and the Classic Car Show has become THE major event on the motoring calendar. The show draws around 1000 vehicles of all types\, representing the diversity and vibrancy of Perth’s motoring community.

Members who have previously attended say it is a great show. \nPlease read the event information below and let me know if you would like to put your name down to attend. \nThanks\, \nNatalie \nEVENT PURPOSE \nThe Curtin FM Car Show is a 100% fund raiser for Curtin FM Radiothon helping keep our community station on air\, with part proceeds going to a nominated registered charity. \nCONDITIONS OF ENTRY \n\nMANDATORY CONTACT REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO ENTER THIS EVENT. ANY OTHER GOVERNMENT MANDATED REQUIREMENTS AT THE TIME OF THE EVENT WILL ALSO BE IN PLACE.\nEntry of display vehicle covers vehicle\, driver\, and one other passenger. Additional persons will be charged full gate entry with NO EXCEPTIONS.\nThe Curtin FM 100.1 Car Show reserves the right to refuse entry to any non-conforming applicant. No correspondence will be entered into.\nSunday set up time will be from 6.30am to 9.30am. All vehicles and displays must be set up by 9.30am – NO EXCEPTIONS.\nAny person found causing damage to any part of the property of the Trinity Football Club or any part of the oval complex\, including the playing surface\, shall be liable for the cost of replacement or repair.\nDue to Public Liability Insurance constraints\, NO vehicles or displays are permitted to be moved between the  hours of 9.30am and 3.00pm – with NO EXCEPTIONS.\nThe Curtin FM 100.1 Car Show\, Trinity Football Club and Trinity College are exempted from any liability arising from loss\, injury or damage to any vehicle\, person or property whilst engaged in this event. All owners of vehicle to be displayed must have their own insurance.\nAny FOR SALE signs displayed must not exceed A4 paper size and must be printed\, not handwritten.\nNo alcohol is permitted on the grounds with the exception of the appropriate licensed areas.\nAll directions of Curtin FM 100.1 Car Show representatives must be followed.
