DESCRIPTION:John has driven to Dumbleyung yesterday and has recommended that the proposed run over the ANZAC weekend be cancelled for the time being.  \nThe distance and accommodation issues are problematic. \nHe will organise an alternative Wheatbelt Wander later and advise us then. \n  \nJohn Neskudla has put together another of his Wheatbelt Wanders for us and due to popular demand this one has been extended from a day trip to a weekender over the ANZAC day long weekend in April. All of the details are below\, please contact John on 0412 856 445 if you have and questions. \nThere is limited accomodation so book early so you don’t miss out on a great weekend! \nThe second wheatbelt run is now set for a two night stay in Dumbleyung at the “Grande Olde Dumbleyung Inne” in Dumbleyung WA\, as per the attached info and itinerary. \nAs we all know\, it is tough times for all at the moment\, so I would like to make it as easy as possible on the hotel and the tour company in Dumbleyung to accommodate and feed us and show us a good time\, so here are some requirements for you if you decide to come on this fantastic chance to see a part of WA. \nPlease observe the following requirements: \n\nCloseout date to let us know you are definitely in is\, on or before 15th March.  If we do not have a big group\, hotel can still let out some rooms not needed by us (currently holding the whole place).\nAccommodation is limited (check the website)\, so\, first in best dressed.  They do have single/twin and double rooms and a family room (for our more liberated members!!) ~ 30 max persons\nLet’s make it easy on the hotel restaurant by letting them know what we will eat on the two nights (you can let me\, or the hotel know – write it down so you do not forget!!).\nThose who will sign on should also look at which tour with the tour company you will do (if any)\, so they are forewarned\, perhaps we can all decide on the one? (Lake Dumbleyung & significant sights looks good).  Let’s have preferences by cut-off time\, and we can book then.\nPlease take care of your own hotel bookings/meal preferences with the hotel (tell them you are part of the Corvette Club) before or by the cut-off date.\n\nTake a gamble\, make the decision early to help planning\, that is the underscore. \nDress Code for Saturday night dinner – Cowboy/Cowgirl with hats and six shooters. DESCRIPTION:On Sunday 21st March we will be having a Corvette display and Club BBQ at Whiteman Park at shelter “M”\nWe would really like to encourage as many of you as possible to come along and get your cars out on display for everyone to see. \nPlease see the map below outlining where shelter “M” is located next to the museum and the rules and information from the Motor Museum below. \nThe Park Management for the safety of all visitors to the park have introduced some guidelines for car clubs utilising the area and these are:\n• 46 cars can be displayed in this “M” shelter area. Entry is off the side road (Car park 11) which is marked with an asterisk on the map.\n• The other asterisk is the entry point into the grassed BBQ/”M” Shelter area. At this point\, vehicles are walked on and off lawn areas\, by someone from the club wearing a high vis vest between the hours of 10am and 4pm.\n• All Vehicles must access and exit this area via the same way.\n• Vehicles are not permitted to drive down the village mall or drive along the tram line.\n• Vehicles are not to park on or obstruct footpaths.\n• Entry into the museum on the day is at the group rate for Corvettes of WA club members at $10.00pp as against the normal entry of $16.50pp.\n• Power is available in M shelter and there is a coin operated 2 plate BBQ 5m from the shelter which requires a $1 coin for approx. 15mins run time.\n• Shelter M has 3 bench tables under cover that can seat 24 people along with 3 other benches in the general area that can seat a total of 18 people. \n  \nWHERE: Whiteman Park Shelter M next to the Motor Museum \nWHEN: Sunday March 21st \nTIME: 10am – 4pm \nBRING: BYO bbq or picnic lunch\, drinks and your Corvette! \n  \nPlease let me know by Wednesday 17th March if you will be coming along. \nRegards\,\nNatalie \nNatalie Tchorzewski\nM 0439 954 947    E  social.corvettesofwa@gmail.com \nMotor Museum WA Shelter M Parking Plan 2020.
