DESCRIPTION:Corvettes of WA have once again been invited to display our cars as the feature attraction at Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour on Sunday November 17th as part of the Grandies Big Day Out Festival. \nWe will be located on the grassed area outside the Shipwrecks Museum. \nAs they did last year we have again been offered free fish and chips and a beverage for all club members who display their Corvette. \nThe festival runs from 12pm – 4pm. \nPlease let me know ASAP if you plan to attend as this is a very popular event and we are close to capacity with 31 cars already registered. We will be upstairs in The Harbour Room with uninterrupted views over the Indian Ocean to one side and stunning Hillarys Boat Harbour to the other. There is free secure on site parking available so we encourage you to bring your Corvette along. \nWe will be enjoying a delicious festive buffet lunch with a cash bar. DESCRIPTION:Following the success of last year’s Shannons Car Show\, we are invited to attend this year’s show\, as part of the Northam Motorsport Festival on Sunday 27 April. \nWhats on offer:\n• Convenient location (only 1.5 hr drive from Perth)\n• Easy access via Peel Terrace and Minson Ave.\n• Short display time (10am – 2pm)\n• Expanded display area (grassed display area also available)\n• There will be plenty to do:\n•\no Watch the action of the Northam Flying Fifty “round-the-houses”\no Plenty of food vans\, coffee vans and cafes nearby\no Wander around town\, walk through the pits to see competing cars\no Sit in the shade by the Avon River\no Mix with other car enthusiasts and look at their cars \nShannons will also be presenting awards for the best club displays and best cars (as judged by the VSCC). \nOn the day:\nCars are asked to arrive between 9:00 and 9:30 am on the Sunday to enable displays to be set up before the show starts at 10:00am. DESCRIPTION:The Mustang Owners Club of WA have invited Corvettes of WA to join them for a cruise on Sunday August 10th up to Moore River Brewing Co. \nMeet from 9.45am for a 10.30am departure at the location at Hillarys Boat Harbour as shown on the red circle on the image at the bottom of this email.\nCruise is approx 70km and will be around one hour in duration.\nAll sealed roads except the driveway into Moore River Brewing which is compacted limestone. If that’s a concern you are welcome to bring your daily. \nPlease let me know by midday on Tuesday 5th August if you are coming so I can let the Mustang Owners Club know our numbers and we can then ensure that enough seats and parking space is reserved. \nIt will be a great event\, and a great opportunity for enthusiasts to join together and show a united front for our precious hobby. DESCRIPTION:The Curtin FM 100.1 Car Show will be held on Sunday 5th October at Curtin University in Bentley. \nThis is always a great show so please save the date and reply to this email to register. We have room for up to 35 Corvettes and spots will fill fast. I already have 11 Corvettes registered. I will email out the dashboard passes to those registered closer to the date. No pass\, no entry. \nI have agreed to the below conditions on the clubs behalf and by registering to attend you are acknowledging that you have read and understood all the conditions of entry and agree to be bound by them – in particular NO TRAFFIC MOVEMENT BEFORE 2pm. \nFREE ENTRY FOR DISPLAY VEHICLE\, DRIVER AND ONE PASSENGER\nExtra passengers charged at applicable gate prices. Attendance for Clubs and Groups is by application only.\nEVENT PURPOSE: The Curtin FM 100.1 Car Show is a 100% fund raiser for Curtin FM Radiothon helping keep our community station on air\, with part proceeds going to a nominated registered charity.\nCONDITIONS OF ENTRY\n1. Entry of display vehicle covers vehicle\, driver\, and one other passenger.\nAdditional persons will be charged full gate entry with NO EXCEPTIONS.\n2. The Curtin FM 100.1 Car Show reserves the right to refuse entry to any non-conforming applicant/vehicle. No correspondence will be entered into.\n3. Sunday set up time will be from 6.30am to 9.30am. All vehicles and displays must be set up by 9.30am – NO EXCEPTIONS.\n4. Due to Public Liability Insurance constraints\, NO vehicles or displays are permitted to be moved between the hours of 9.30am and 2.00pm – with NO EXCEPTIONS.\n5. Any person found causing damage to any part of the property of Curtin University or any part of the campus\, including any playing or parking surfaces\, shall be liable for the cost of replacement or repair.\n6. The Curtin FM 100.1 Car Show\, Curtin FM\, Curtin University and any other car show organised by Curtin FM 100.1 Car Show\, are exempted from any liability arising from loss\, injury or damage to any vehicle\, person or property whilst engaged in this event. All owners of vehicle to be displayed must have their own insurance.\n7. Any “For Sale” signs displayed must not exceed A4 paper size and must be printed\, not handwritten.\n8. No alcohol is permitted on the grounds with the exception of the appropriate licensed areas.\n9. All directions of Curtin FM 100.1 Car Show representatives must be followed.\n10. Curtin FM 100.1 Car Show shall from time to time co-host or run inconjunction with/alongside their regular car show\, other car shows. DESCRIPTION:Corvettes of WA have once again been invited to display our cars as the feature attraction at Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour on Sunday November 9th as part of the Grandies Big Day Out Festival. \nWe will be located on the grassed area outside the Shipwrecks Museum. \nAs they did last year we have again been offered free fish and chips and a beverage for all club members who display their Corvette. \nThe festival runs from 12pm – 4pm. \nBump in will be from 10:00am and I need everyone in and setup by 11:00am at which time the bollards will go back up and they wont come back down again until 3pm.
