DESCRIPTION:Hi all\, we are having another HOIST / SAFETY CHECK / SWAP MEET / 404 CHECK at my workshop in Warwick. \nAll going well with the weather\, we have chosen SATURDAY THE 12TH OF SEPTEMBER with a start time of 8.30 \nPlease make contact for the address. \n1. Access to the hoist to put your Corvette up and have a good look and do a visual safety check\n2. We will also do a check on wheel bearings\, suspension and brakes.\n3. Swap meet. Bring along any parts you have lying around and make some extra cash for fuel. Have your\nname and a price on the parts to make things easier.\n4. We will be doing a 404 check on vehicles on 404 to make sure as a club we compliant with the rules. This is\nnot so much as a mechanical check but just a compliance check that no modifications have\nbeen done since the last inspection. \nWe will also be doing a Decibel competition of your exhaust if you want to compete or just curious how loud your\nexhaust is. This is done by bringing up your revs to 3000 rpm and measuring with a decibel meter. \nBBQ\, tea and coffee will be provided. DESCRIPTION:On Sunday 27 September\, we’ll be heading up to the Ledge Point Community Association Show & Shine Family Day.\nIt’s always a great day out\, with a Show & Shine\, market stalls\, food and drinks\, and plenty of entertainment throughout the day.\nSunday 27 September 2026\nMeeting Point\nAmpol Foodary North Wanneroo\n2624 Wanneroo Rd\, Nowergup WA 6032\nMeet: 8:15 am\nDeparture: 8:45 am\nFrom the meeting point\, we’ll head north along Wanneroo Road/Indian Ocean Drive for approximately 76 km\, which should take around 45–50 minutes depending on traffic.\nAt Ledge Point\, turn left onto Ledge Point Road\, then left onto Jones Street. DESCRIPTION:Unfortunately\, the Grandies Big Day Out Festival in Fremantle\, which we’ve enjoyed being part of over the last few years\, is no longer going ahead.\nThe good news is that we’ve been invited to take part in the rescheduled WA Day Festival at Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour on Sunday 11 October instead.\nJust to clarify the date\, we know WA Day was back in June\, but the WA Day Festival that was planned for June was postponed due to severe weather and has now been rescheduled to Sunday 11 October. Although the event is still being called the WA Day Festival\, this is the rescheduled festival event date and is not WA Day itself or a long weekend.\nCorvette Display\nWe won’t be in our usual location outside the Shipwrecks Museum as we have been in previous years. This time\, our Corvettes will be displayed in the car park and Piazza area near Kailis at Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour.\nI’m meeting the event organiser on site next week and should have a better idea then of exactly how much space we’ll have and how many Corvettes we can accommodate. In the meantime\, please register early as spaces will be limited.\nAs with the Grandies event\, members who display their Corvette on the day will receive a voucher for lunch\, funded by the Fremantle Traders Association.\nImportant Arrival & Departure Times\nThe festival itself runs from 11:00am to 7:00pm\, but our display times are:\nEntry to our designated area: From 10:00am\nAll cars must be in and set up by: 11:00am\nCars can leave: From 4:00pm\nAll display vehicles must arrive between 10:00am and 11:00am and remain in the display area until 4:00pm. These times are a requirement of the event organisers and their insurance\, as well as an expectation of the Fremantle Traders Association\, who are supporting the event and funding the lunch vouchers for members displaying their Corvettes. These times are not negotiable\, so please make sure you can commit to them when registering.\nWith free parking for the day\, make the most of it and enjoy the festival\, explore Fremantle and take in the great weather we’re expecting!\nWhat’s Happening\nThere will be live music\, performances\, family activities\, traders and plenty of entertainment throughout the day\, with even more happening than at the Grandies Big Day Out Festival in previous years.\nIt should be a fantastic day and a great opportunity to get plenty of Corvettes out on display in Fremantle.\nPlease register as soon as possible if you’d like to display your Corvette\, as places will be limited.

DESCRIPTION:WESTERN AUSTRALIAN RACING MUSEUM \n111 Harper Road\, Banjup\nOpen: 9:30 am – 3:00 pm \nCorvettes of WA have been invited to attend the Western Australian Racing Museum’s annual event. \nThe museum is located on private property and features numerous open-wheel race cars of various makes\, a huge working workshop and an extensive collection of barn-find and project cars in the surrounding outbuildings. \nTea and coffee will be provided. \nMEETING POINT \nMeet at Hungry Jack’s\, Bull Creek between 9:15 am and 9:30 am\, departing at 9:45 am. \nThe drive to Banjup takes approximately 12–15 minutes. \nThose wishing to travel directly to the venue can meet us at 111 Harper Road\, Banjup. \nFollowing our visit\, we will head to King Road Brewing Co. for lunch at 12:30 pm\, where we have reserved the fenced-off grass area directly out the front for the club.
