DESCRIPTION:‘Limited events due to COVID-19’ \nWalyunga National Park picnic ground – organised by Richard G. & Lois \nWe will meet at the Ascot Waters McDonald’s at 10:30 AM (depart at 10:40 AM) and drive up to Muzz Buzz Midland. We should arrive at Muzz Buzz Midland at 11 AM (depart at 11:10 AM). \nYou can meet the group at either location\, but you must Reply to RSVP and let me know if you are coming and at which meeting point\, we will find you. Restrictions still in place limit our number of attendees to 20 people. When the drive is fully subscribed\, we will send out notification. \nThe weather is forecasting a 20 % chance\, but no measurable rain. From Google maps it appears there may be barbeques\, may be tables too\, but we cannot be certain. \nBring your picnic\, chairs\, or blanket\, and we will enjoy a pleasant time by the Avon River. \nThe drive was originally scheduled to go to the Ravenswood pub\, but it is not yet open\, and they told us we could not picnic on their grounds. \nHope you can come along.    We’ll send a map to the first 20 people who respond.

DESCRIPTION:Saturday drive has been fully subscribed\nWelcome to Phase 2 of WA’s four-phase of COVID19 easing of restrictions! \nThe Social Committee has proposed a drive to the park just off the South end of the Serpentine Dam for Saturday May 23\, 2020. \nWe will meet at 10:30 AM in the parking lot adjacent to the  Bull Creek Hungry Jacks on South Street. Bring your own lunch. The drive will take about an hour. The route map is attached. \nThe West Australian gathering restrictions allow for 20 people effective Monday May 18\, 2020. We understand there will be those who prefer to skip gatherings during these trying times. For this reason\, can you please let us know if you plan on attending. If the number of responses exceeds 20 attendees \, we will consider putting on a second drive to a different location. DESCRIPTION:Celebration of the Motorcar is an event like no other in Australia\, with an unequalled display of prestige\, exotic and classic cars. \nDisplayed by invitation only\, the cars are the crème de la crème of the state’s finest collectable cars\, with a few interstate exhibits added into the mix. In the region of $35 million worth of rare and desirable cars are on show each year\, spanning vintage through to the latest prestige and exotic cars. \nThe upmarket atmosphere is enhanced by live performances of classical music. The venue in Perth is the beautiful Cottesloe Civic Centre\, the gardens framing the cars perfectly against the background of the Indian Ocean. A charity fund raising event\, Celebration of the Motorcar provides support for Wheels for Hope. \nCreator and Event Director Paul Blank from Automotive Events Management has run motoring events around Australia and in Europe for over two decades and first ran the Celebration of the Motorcar in Perth in 1993. “A special\, luxurious show\, in beautiful surroundings with attention to detail highlights the wonderful array of cars… The most beautiful cars\, classical music\, great food and a picturesque venue… what a treat.
