C7 Corvette Z06 Takes Down a Fox-Body Mustang and Dodge’s Hellcats During a Good Night at the Track
It was a great night to be a yellow C7 Corvette Z06, at least at Palm Beach International Raceway in Jupiter, Florida.
The Drag Racing and Car Stuff channel on YouTube captured all the smoke-filled action, beginning with the Z06’s impressive annihilation of a Fox Body Ford Mustang, 10.64 to 12.27.
The mighty Chevy picked another win in a battle with a Blue Charger Hellcat, at least according to the light that signals a win for the Z06. The times on the board, however, showed the Hellcat winning 10.61 to 10.62. Not sure what that was about.
A little brother C6 Corvette Z06 turned out to be the next victim as the C7 showed absolutely no mercy for a family member, running a 10.59 to an 11.67.
Two more runs against Dodge Challengers closed out the C7’s spectacular night, with the first falling 10.69 to 11.44 and the next going down, too, but narrowing the margin to 10.14 to 10.17.
