The Corvette Club of South Australia is proud to host the 2027 Corvette Nationals as we celebrate a remarkable milestone – our 50th Anniversary.
Established in 1977, the Club has grown into one of Australia’s oldest and most dynamic Corvette communities, with more than 300 passionate members.
Why Adelaide in 2027?
In 2023, at the Presidents’ Meeting held during the Corvette Nationals in Ballarat, it was unanimously agreed that South Australia would host the 2027 Nationals- an ideal way to commemorate our Club’s Golden Jubilee.
This landmark event is set to be one of the most memorable to date, welcoming Corvette enthusiasts from across Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and beyond, to our beautiful capital city of Adelaide.
The Heart of the Event – The Oval Hotel, Adelaide Oval.
Our celebrations will be centered around the iconic Adelaide Oval, located in the very heart of the city.
March is renowned locally as “Mad March,” a vibrant time filled with world-class events including the Adelaide Festival, WOMAD, and the Adelaide Fringe.
We encourage attendees to immerse themselves in Adelaide’s rich cultural atmosphere alongside the excitement of the Nationals.
Adelaide is a thoughtfully planned city, encircled by picturesque parklands, and our host venue features a unique hotel integrated into the Oval – an ideal central base for your stay.
Enjoy the convenience of underground parking and the reassurance of after-hours patrolled security throughout your stay at the Oval.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEKEND
Friday, March 5:
Registration opens at 1lam at the Oval, followed by the traditional Meet and Greet at the Lindsay Head Terrace Bar. Be sure to wear your club shirt – it’s the perfect way to connect and celebrate together.
Saturday, March 6:
It’s time to Shine at the Show and Shine at Bonython Park, perfectly positioned on Adelaide’s edge. Enjoy some free time in the afternoon
before coming together for an elegant dinner at the Adelaide Pavilion, nestled in the beautiful Veale Gardens of the South Parklands.
We are seeking expressions of interest for an afternoon tour of Adelaide Oval.
Additional details will be provided once we gauge the level of interest.
Sunday, March 7:
Embark on a scenic drive through the Adelaide Hills to the National Motor Museum at Birdwood, followed by lunch at Barossa Park in Lyndoch – a state-of-the-art oval complex built for AFL’s Gather Round. After lunch, enjoy free time exploring local wineries at your leisure.
Sunday, March 7: Gala Dinner:
The Gala Dinner ‘Dine with the Corvettes’ will be held in the William Magarey Room at the Oval, where awards are presented, raffles drawn, and memories made.
Monday, March 8:
Farewell and Safe Travels!
