We have been invited to attend this year’s Shannons Show & Shine as part of the Northam Motorsport Festival on Sunday 26 April (ANZAC Day Long Weekend), and registrations are now open for our club display.
Last year we had a fantastic turnout and Corvettes of W.A. took home the trophy for Best Club Display, so let’s get a strong group together and aim to do it again.
What’s on offer:
• Convenient location (only 1.5 hr drive from Perth)
• Easy access via Peel Terrace and Minson Ave
• Short display time (10am – 2pm)
• Expanded display area at Bernard Park along the Avon River (grassed display area also available)
• There will be plenty to do:
◦ Watch the action of the Northam Flying Fifty “round-the-houses”
◦ Plenty of food vans, coffee vans and cafes nearby
◦ Wander around town and walk through the pits to see competing cars
◦ Sit in the shade by the Avon River
◦ Mix with other car enthusiasts and check out a great range of vehicles
Shannons will be presenting awards for Best Club Display and Best Car (as judged by the VSCC), so presentation counts.
On the day:
Cars are to arrive between 9:00 and 9:30am to allow time to set up before the show starts at 10:00am.
Cars are able to leave from 2:00pm following presentations.
I will also arrange a meeting time and location for those who wish to travel up in convoy.
Please register ASAP if you would like to attend and display your Corvette, so we can confirm final numbers and ensure we are allocated sufficient space.
