On Sunday 21st March we will be having a Corvette display and Club BBQ at Whiteman Park at shelter “M”
We would really like to encourage as many of you as possible to come along and get your cars out on display for everyone to see.
Please see the map below outlining where shelter “M” is located next to the museum and the rules and information from the Motor Museum below.
The Park Management for the safety of all visitors to the park have introduced some guidelines for car clubs utilising the area and these are:
• 46 cars can be displayed in this “M” shelter area. Entry is off the side road (Car park 11) which is marked with an asterisk on the map.
• The other asterisk is the entry point into the grassed BBQ/”M” Shelter area. At this point, vehicles are walked on and off lawn areas, by someone from the club wearing a high vis vest between the hours of 10am and 4pm.
• All Vehicles must access and exit this area via the same way.
• Vehicles are not permitted to drive down the village mall or drive along the tram line.
• Vehicles are not to park on or obstruct footpaths.
• Entry into the museum on the day is at the group rate for Corvettes of WA club members at $10.00pp as against the normal entry of $16.50pp.
• Power is available in M shelter and there is a coin operated 2 plate BBQ 5m from the shelter which requires a $1 coin for approx. 15mins run time.
