The Grandies Big Day Out Festival, which was always a club favourite with our cars parked outside the Shipwrecks Museum and free fish and chips for lunch, is unfortunately no longer going ahead.
The good news is that we’ve been invited to attend the WA Day Festival in Fremantle instead, on Sunday 11 October.
I am told that the car park next to Kailis will be cordoned off for our club to display our Corvettes. I’m still waiting on confirmation of exactly how much space will be available and how many cars we can accommodate.
This is shaping up to be another very popular day, so places will be limited – first in gets a spot! Make sure you get your name down early to secure your place.
Members who display their Corvette on the day will receive a voucher for lunch.
From what I’ve been told, this event will be bigger and better with even more entertainment throughout the day than at the Grandies Big Day Out Festival in previous years – so don’t miss this one!
