You gotta take a look at what this 22-year-old YouTube star just did for his dad.

Usually known for his “rickrolling” antics on his TheTekkitRealm channel, the young man recently decided it was time to spend some of his hard-earned-on-the-internet cash on finally getting his father the car of his dreams, even if it meant the ensuing post that recounts the adventure meant spending the most ever on one of his posts.

It was money well spent, though, at least in our opinion.

He has to make a trip across the country to pick up the 2019 Corvette convertible, a 1LT model he paid $67,000 for. He explains he picked a C7 because it’s more representative of the style Corvette his dad always liked, unlike the new mid-engine C8 that looks too much like a Lamborghini.

Once the Corvette is back home, the son figures out a really cool way to seal the deal, so to speak, parking it down the street and pointing out “a really cool” car parked down the street to his dad, who immediately recognizes it as a Corvette that obviously stands out amongst the usual sea of boring family vehicles around it.

“Huh” and “What do you mean” are the recipient’s first responses as Dad struggles to understand exactly what Son is telling him.

It quickly sinks in, though, as Son hands Dad the keys and suggests going for a ride. Just cranking up the car and hearing that intoxicating exhaust sound puts a big smile on Dad’s face, and we see the two men having the time of their lives as they cruise around town.

Well done, young man!
